Tree Sap

Anyone know how to remove tree sap from the paint job safely? I left my truck under a pine tree and now I have three problem spots. If anyone can help, Thanks.

The first thing you need to do is read the forum rules. Once done with that, you will know how to remove tree sap.

Jeez, your Avatar say's your a nice guy. This post makes you look like an ass.

Double post's happen occasionally, it's not his fault, it's a problem with the forum software.

UCFnate: Try getting a bar of Mother's Claybar and use a solution of soapy water to lubricate the paint while you rub the claybar over the sap to pick it up off the paint.

I wasn't talking about the double post. I was talking about the fact that typing "tree sap" into the search would have brought up 6 posts, of which using a claybar had been discussed.

I see

Well, you could have advised him to do a search instead of telling him to go read the forum rules. Some people are new to boards and yes, they might need a reminder of the search feature.

Because there are a bunch of other tree sap threads to post in
