Dead Pedal is Dead

I needed to remove my dead pedal to make more room around the clutch pedal.

Has anyone or any vendor designed a replacement that would be almost flush with the carpet?

TIA

Thanks MrSmitty!

I'll have to write them to see if they have something for the Tacoma. I'm also going to ask if they might make clutch pedal cover that's a little wider than the original so I can shift my foot to the left. When I use the pedal now my toe hits the pedal arm (the arm above the pedal pad) - it's a very uncomfortable arrangement.
Toyota engineers must not drive standard transmissions.

Reply from AutoVation Technologies

I think I need to inform them that the dead pedal cover does not mount by simply screwing onto an existing pedal and the clutch pedal needs to be extended to the left for my comfort......Hey! Maybe someone could visit them with the same Tacoma model so they can see how the pedals are manufactured? I gotta find out where they are based...

Jay,
Hello. If you can submit stock pedal templates per the link below, we
Can make a complete pedal set for you at a discount. Templates are easy to
create and take about 10-15 minutes. Once I know the quantity of
pedals and approximate size (photo is fine), I can give you a discount quotation
for providing templates. Please let me know. Thank you.

http://www.autovation.net/new/pedal_template.htm
[For fastest service, email or fax (941-412-1734) the template directly
to me. Remember to note dimensions, side profile curvature and
approximate mounting hole locations (look for obstructions behind the pedals)].

Jeff Silva
