Any BAK Bakflip owners?

Anyone own a BAK Bakflip hard cover?
http://www.truckcustomizers.com/prod...6BAK313.1.html

I'm thinking about getting one of these instead of Fold-a-cover or the rest. I have one in a shopping cart for $503.97 with free shipping! That's at least $100 less than the fold-a-cover which was the next cheapest one I've seen.

Also, they CLAIM it's 100% water proof. I watched the install video and it looks very nice! Each section locks down with a quick release catch on the underside so you can't lift up the center sections like some of other covers. Doesn't lock with keys, but you can only access the releases by opening the tailgate. So that means my pop a lock key is the only one I need to key track of!

Also, it has gas shocks to lift the whole thing up against the back window to get it out of the way when folded AND protect the back window from large loads. Oh, and apparently you can remove it easily as well.

Comments? Any already have one? Anyone know a where TN members might get a discont on one of these?

my only dilemna now is do I buy it from truckcustomizers.com or truckaddons.com? They're the cheapest ones, but I saw that post about truckcustomizers.com ripping one of us off for $300.... Don't know anything about truckcustomizers.com myself...

Well, used my credit card on truckcustomizers.com.... $503.97. Best deal I've seen yet so I guess we'll see when it shows up!

I posted a thread on this cover a while ago. I think it looks great but I was waiting to see if I could see one in a truck accesories store or get some real feedback on it before I ordered one. One guy PM'd me saying he had waited 7 weeks for his to come, but he finnally cancelled his order when they told him it would be a few more weeks until Bak could perfect the fit on our trucks. I think he mentioned the problems are because out tailgates are 3/4" lower than the side rails? Anyway post some pic's when you get yours.

I contacted Bak Industries regarding the use of the factory rails and was sent the following pictures. The rep mentioned in the email that I won't be able to use the tie down if I installed the cover. One of the picture also showed a gap between the tailgate and the cover, I guess that's the issue kooltaco mentioned. Hope these pictures help, I am still waiting on Fold-a-Cover to answer my question regarding the use of factory rails.

Sits higher than tailgate (?)

There's an install video on truckaddons.com

http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/s...ip_tonneau.htm

Seems fairly easy, too bad I just now noticed it would cover the factory rails....
