Plain and simple this is just a thread to list our idea's for products that the aftermarket companies should come out with for our 2005+ Tacoma's.
Here's a few idea's I would like to see offered:
1. A Black checkerplate-steel inside Tailgate cover.
2. A Bed-Rail relocation kit (Some kind of J-Channel steel that could lower our side bed-rails 2" so they could still be used with all bed covers)
3. A Lund Cold-Front screen for our Air-Dams similar to the grill insert many of us have.
4. TRD Seat covers for the rear seats of our Double Cabs.
5. A Rear Floor Liner like the WeatherTech, but better, which actually covers those triangle areas in the double cabs.
6. A locking Tailgate & locking Gas cap kit that uses the same key, they could even throw in bed locks that are keyed alike.
7. A power rear window conversion kit simiar to the Tundra's power rear window.
Please add your ideas...I am sure there will be tons just on new bed cleat ideas(Fishing Rod holder, Bike Racks...)

Bed locks, Redline Hood Struts, Weathertech Floor Liners-front & rear, Bed Mat, Hood Deflector, Pop n Lock, Running Boards, Lund Grille insert.
How about an exhaust mod that re-locates ( lengthens ) the driver side crossover, and raises the crossover portion up so its not lower than the frame cross member and is protected.
Also add a 120V outlet inside the cab near/on the console .
I haven't even got my tacoma yet, but I was already thinking of ways to do a locking gas cap. With gas prices so high and it holding 21 gallons, unwanted things might happen.
-Pneumatic lifts on hood
-D-rings in front of truck bed

That definitley is very nice. But, I just don't like the fact of cutting a big hole in the top of my roof. Because once you do it, there is no turning back. But, it looks nice. How much was it?
It was a while ago, that I had this done. There is no wind noise, it is made by American sunroofs. The only downside I have is that the cover inside the truck doesnt slide as smooth as the factory ones I have had. Its not a huge difference, but noticable. The contoller has alot of cool features and is pretty low profile mounted in the compass light area. I dont recall exactly but I think it was arround $1600. I was nervous about cutting a hole in my truck too but i wanted it man. With all the time i have spent on this site and other like it learning about mods and cool stuff to do to this truck I have only seen one other truck that added a sunroof.
