Post up some pics on aftermarket headlight bulbs

Hey guys. I just want to see some pics of your bulbs. Please post a night picture and part #'s of the bulbs you went with. I personally want a LIGHT blue/purple headlight and I want to change my fogs to ambers.

If you are looking for a light blue look I recommend these.

They run at 60/55w stock wattage and are very bright!

I have the Pure Blues. They might be a little too blue for you though!

I have had no problems with Luminics bulbs or AutomotiveLightingusa.com. They have excellent service!

These would be your headlights. (H4)

These would be your fogs. (9005)

Just givin' ya a hard time.

H4 (9003) is the headlights. HB (9005 or 9006) will fit the fogs.

I know that lots of folks are running 9005's for their fogs, but the stock bulb is an H10 or 9145 bulb. The major difference is that the stock bulb pulls 45 watts, whereas most 9005's pull 65 watts.

You might be fine long term, but you absorb some amount of risk for frying the wiring or melting the fog light housing with the extra heat. I think the wiring risks are pretty low, but I know of other cars (Acura) where a 50% wattage gain in the fog housing has discolored and/or melted the cover.

Thanks dude. Great site. I really did not want to spend over 100$ on bulbs on the PIAAs I can change almost every bulb on my truck for 100 with the luminics

edit: has anyone fried or melted there fogs with the 9005's VS the H10s?
