fog lights

Anyone know how to make the tial lights and the fog lights work together? I have seen other post on how to mod. the fogs so they work indipendantly but I would like the tial lights to come on also. Someone stated that it would be against the law to run just the fogs, without the tail lights. (Safety thing)

Huh... against the law? It's called Daytime running lights ( DRL ). Factory installed on a lot of
cars... not agaist the law....

If you want front lights AND rear lights on all the time, just leave the headlights on all of the
time. They will turn off when you turn off the truck and turn on when you start it up.

I was talking about using only the fogs at night. I don't want the any of the other front lights on. but I do want to have the tail lights on, with the fogs. As for daytime running lights to me that's just a waste of bulb life. Maybe it would be good if I could install a switch to activate the tail lights. Then I would have the option to go stelth!

I think he's talking about using just the fogs (w/o using the side markers and/or turn signals) as h/l's in conjunction with the rear lamps (at night). Pretty sure that is illegal. Been wrong before, though.
