Hello all I tried doing the black headlight mod during the weekend and sure enough I $uck up the drivers side headlight. I got some goof off in the inside of the lens while it was still open and ruined the plastic lens made it all hazed up and scracthy. So im wondering if anyone here is selling a drivers side headlight please let me know. Thanks

man, that really sucks. Did you not clean it out before you put the headlight assembly back together? I made sure everything was spotless before I put it back together. Sorry to hear that.

aye, i had the same problem, but the spot where i got it was very minor near where the side markers are and you cant really see it unless you looked closely so i just left it. if its really really bad then i would just buy a new one. good luck.

It will fix I polish headlights all the time. try some megs scratch X rub it in and buff it off with a micro fiber. it will take some time but it will work. unless you smeared it bad with the dremmel and melted it. if thats the case 200/600/1500/2000 grit wet sand then megs scratch X... Good luck

There's really no way to fix plastic once Goof Off has touched it. It melts the plastic, which is why Goof Off is packaged in a metal can. Never use Goof Off on plastic! Goo Gone is ok, but you still have to be careful.

im sorry to hear that but if it makes you feel better. i kinda f*cked up on my headlights. there are paints chips on the side of the HL because when i was putting everything back together the rubber glue nicked part of the paint off. i got a a couple chips on both my HLs. You can see the chrome if you come up close. Think about it this way. When you buy the new HL youll do it perfect and you wont have any imperfections like me =)
