2.7L Sports Exhaust System by TRD

Hey guys i have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner 2.7L and wanted to know if anyone has that exhaust system by TRD and what it sounds like. Also id like to know if its over priced, because $400 seems a bit pricey.

Lastly, what exhaust system would you recomend me getting if not the TRD exhaust system?

As far as I know there is no 2.7l exhaust by TRD. Unless is just came out.

if i were looking for the 2.7 catback, i'd go to custom tacos site and search there.... i believe i've read there, some w/2.7's have gone aftermarket. good luck.

PS you can also get a double cab SB Or Excab V6 TRD exhaust and just cut down the first part of the pipe where it bolts to the cat. But you will need to re use your flange. Its pretty simple and the rest of the exhaust just is the same.

Ill say this my son has a 2006 Scion TC and you know its a Toyota marketed under a different name to lure young folks to a trendier name. ayway he just bout a trd exhaust for that and it is really high quality stainless. really nice

My friend has a Flowmaster 40 on his 4 cylinder S-10.

THE WORST sounding setup my ears have ever heard.

It sounds like he is running straight pipes.

Magnaflow sounds way nice!

great, haven't ran into a person that hasn't liked how it sounds. Its got a nice rumble for a 4 banger, its not to loud, but i have set off 4 or 5 car alarms. But just crusin, its quite.

This guy's from TTORA.
Could it sound different coming from a chevy s10 for some reason?
So far I havnt found any exhaust systems from magnaflow that fit a 2.7L 05 Taco prerunner

I'm not into the loud rumble or setting off alarms.

You don't have to get an exhaust system.

You can just cut out your existing muffler and put up a new one. It's much cheaper.

Maybe thats the way i should go. I don't ahve the $$ for a new exhaust unless i save for a while
