I did the 3" rev-tek with 285/70 r17's I cut one side and was a mistake. I just left everything else the same. The wheel well that I cut rubs louder and worse cause of the sharp edges left by the dremel. The other wheels rub but it is so minimal. I have done some pretty good off roading and flexed this baby good! Who cares if it rubs a little. DON"T CUT ANYTHING. Does anyone have a left front mudflap for sale?
First of all, you don't need to use a dremmel, an exacto knife works just fine...
Second of all, if it still rubs, just trim it more...
Third of all, if you don't trim and it does rub, it's incredibly annoying to listen to, and very unimpressive when people here that shitty sound coming from your truck...
And finally, your tires are going to wear where it rubs if you don't trim, and eventually that could be a problem...
You guys are so rude! I'm gonna go kill myself now. I will never trim my plastic and let it keep rubbing. The only time it rubs is when I turn all the way to one side and you can barely here it. My tires will rub through where they need to. I guess I won't have to worry about because I will be dead!

lets not do that over some guys whom apparently had a bad day or something. just be cool
I wouldn't worry about what anyone says. Would you listen to two guys who had a shop install their lift. I wouldn't. At least you have taken yours offroad. Unlike like most of the Disco trucks on this forum.
Calling people idiots and telling them they don't know what their doing is unessential. I'm sick of everyone getting ripped on when they post. The maturity level of this forum is disheartening.

Just because we had our work done at custom shops doesn't mean can't post here.
This happens time and time again.
If you pay the right people do to the work, you won't have problems.
People always bitch and complain when something is wrong with their trucks, well you shouldn't have installed a suspension lift yourself. Something is bound to happen. It's common sense.
I get my shit done right and that is why I never run into problems.
I have already made countless mistakes of trying to be "Mr. Fabricator" on a $42k Jeep.
I have the 265/75/R16 with my lift and I get rubbing when I turn all the way to either side. But for me I don`t want to trim anything because I try to avoid doing it.
295/65/18 Goodyear Duratracs:2.5" lift in the front with 1" rear Block
