XM radio

I have XM radio and I really enjoy it. I have been using the built in FM transmitter, but lately there have been more and more little radio stations on the frequencies that xm will broadcast to. So I am constantly changing the frequency settings.

So my question is can I hard wire the satelite to my stock 05 Tacoma radio?

I did to mine. You will need an auxillary input that you plug your XM into. Then hardwire the AUX unit to the CD changer input on the stock radio. It will also allow you to connect another unit like Ipod. Here is the one I used.

I got it at Circuit City

Why don't you try using the search button instead of crapping up the forum with another damn thread about "how do I hook up my xm/sirius/mp3player to my stock head unit." There are a kazillion threads already on this. And in case you can't read, the previous threads even have pictures.

Kind of like crapping up the forum by posting smart ass responses. If my post makes you mad or craps up the forum ignore it and it will be off the 1st page in no time. Sometimes it is more efficient to start a new thread about a subject pertaining to me than it is to sort through a "kazillion" other threads that are sort of related.

I think I paid $69 at Circuit City. I went ahead and had them install it too. I put it in my glove box. Sounds a lot better than when I use to use the FM modulator which sounds like ass.
