Some 2005 – 2006 model year Tacoma customers (1GR–FE only) may complain of a
rattle noise from the right front fender area while the vehicle is idling in drive or reverse.
The air intake hose assembly has been improved to reduce noise from contact between
the air intake hose assembly and fender.
2005 – 2006 model year Tacoma vehicles equipped with the 1GR–FE engine and

The numbers are chronological and the TSB's that start with EG only go up to 045-06 and that one was released July 7th, 2006. There is no EG046-06, either that or, it was just released.
I know you two posted at just about the same time so you probably didn't see it, but I can't help it. Boone...look up, there is more info in the 3rd post of this thread.
TSB number is stright from toyota, right off of TIS. The EG refers to it being an engine related TSB 046 means it's the 46th engine related tsb and 06 means it was released in 06.
For example the next newest toyota engine tsb is for the scion xA regarding a check engine light and it is EG046-06
It just hasn't been added to whatever site that is yet

I understand the labels.
Um.. so then you might want to change your 1st post to read "August 1st" instead of "April". That's why I was confused.

Allright I tried to be helpful because I know how TSB anal everyone is here, but if you guys just want to pick apart every letter of my post just because I'm not PB, Cam or one of the other "gurus" then never mind.
I'm a Lexus tech, I have access to everything toyota, scion and lexus. I may not know the difference between april and august (and I'll always screw those two up) but I know what I'm talking about when it comes to my job.
So just wait until alldata.com or whatever website you guys worship list it then one of the "regulars" can take credit for finding it.
hey nice find... my truck has that rattle/vibration noise and when i took it in they said nothing was wrong... Im glad I have some ammo for my next appointment... does anyone know where i can download the TSB for this
