Warranty Work

This is the first new vehicle I have ever owned so I am curious as to how warranty work gets handled. I am having the clutch squeak and cab mount TSBs done next week. I took it in so they could diagnose and order the parts and so far it hasn't cost me anything. I even got a free car wash! I'm just wondering if when I take it in for the actual work if they are going to hit me with some kind of deductable or something.

Nope. The dealership is reinbursed by Toyota Motors for all warranty repair work. One of the reasons Toyota is so profitable is becuase they spend much less than domestic brands on new car warranty repairs. If a part does show repeated failure (door handle, leaf spring, dash clips, etc.), Toyota is know for having the supplier improve the part ASAP and having the vendor ship the redesigned part to the factory assembly line quickly. Domestic manufacturers have a different philosophy, and are paying the price with Toyota now overtaking Ford Motor Company in USA sales. The top three auto manufacturers no longer means GM, Ford, and Daimler Chrysler! Toyota just hit #2!
