Talking Ran into some trouble.........

We were wheeling along minding our own buisness when suddenly from out of nowhere this gang of horses comes running out of the woods and blocked the trail

They wouldn`t let me by or move so I tried a little pushbar persuasion but they looked like they might start kicking in my grille

I tried to backup but they had me surrounded

Luckily I had some backup of my own, my co-pilot, navigator and bodyguard happened to be along for the ride

Finally their leader arrived and we came to terms

turns out we were in the hall of the mountain horse and this was a toll road
we were forced to give up all sugar cubes

Damn gangs are everywhere now days

Nothing worse than being held up by a bunch of hoodlum horses.

They keep them in the mountains in this area we were in during the summer, we`ve run across them a few times through the years, even helped the boys catch them up once.
Kind of freaked me out when they came running out like we had a truckload of alfalfa or something all I heard was the cowbells and I expected the cows.

There are wild horses to the east in the high desert, now those are some beautiful animals, descendents of spanish stock, huge! flowing manes. You couldn`t get this close to them with a vehicle but I`ve walked amongst them, they`re pretty skittish and the ones that don`t run look like they are going to stomp you.Now that encounter made me kind of nervous.

man, that is too freakin cool...almost magical...I take it they didn't kick the truck, right? Horses are so cool, they are very gregarious. Your kids must have loved it.

Did one of them push that rearview mirror out of joint?

Like "Logan's Run" where the main characters are the last people left on Earth or something to that effect and they just came above ground from the fallout shelter...

He man be older but with age comes wisdom or at least that's my opinion.

Very cool pics but I had a friend who almost lost her life from a horsing accident so to me horses are not cool anymore.
