NJ Get together planned for September

Got a get together planned for NJ or anyone who wants to attend:

Okay gang...looks like we have two trucks so far, and we will try gathering more
soon. Here are the details, please post any questions

When: Saturday, Sept 2--9AM (8AM if you want breakfast)
Where: Meet at the Red Lion Diner at the Red Lion Circle (Routes 70 & 206)
Red Lion: 609-859-2301
What: Off roading in Wharton State Forest/Batsto
A few logistics: After breakfast we will take a 20 minute drive to the forest
and likely wheel for a few hours, stop for lunch, then wheel some more (the plan
is to be done with the day by around 4-5ish) and then will retire to a local
campground. Anyone wanting campground reservations must RSVP by August 18.
There are a few local campgrounds.
-4WD only
-Bring shovels, hi lift jacks, tow straps, chains, winch gear, wood scraps,
firewood (if camping), food, cooler, etc
-I will be tuning into FRS, channel 7-09 and will give my cel# to any attendees
-Kids, dogs, and families are welcome but all children must be on leash ;-)

Info on the locales in below, bear in mind that it's a holiday weekend when
making plans. Please post any questions here or IM me for further info.

Eventhough we are now catching the remnants of Ernesto the trip to Wharton State Park is on. Should be alot of fun and alot of mud. Anyone interested in coming we will be meeting at the Atsion Lake ranger station and 9:00 a.m. with some guys from NJTTORA. If you can't make it we hope to put together another trip in October sometime. Should have pics posted sometime tomorrow night.

Just got back from Wharton a little bit ago. Had a great time. 4 people came. Just enough. Rained pretty much the whole time. Only had to do one recovery. The waterholes were everywhere. Post the pictures tomorrow but here is vid of one of the holes and a pic of the 4 of us. Once everyone gets all the pics sent I'll be posting more. Only 2 problem arose from this outing. Lost well actually, broke my antenna off going through some brush and noticed condensation forming inside the headlights. Guess I'll have to pull them and reseal again once the rain stops.

Wharton

Don't know if anyone else shot video. Some of these are short and some are just sloppy from trying to shoot and drive at the same time. Only 2 problem arose from this outing. Broke my antenna off going through some brush and noticed that I scratched up the outside of my mirrors. Glad there are not the painted ones. Just goes along with the fun of 4 wheeling. Anyway, if you have time and would like to see some of the pics and videos, here they are:

We are planning on going again sometime next month so if your interested this time around, just let me know.

Damn dude that looks like it was a lot of fun. I wish it would rain here like that so I could go out 4 wheelin. I did how ever go out to my deer lease this weekend to do some work and dove hunting and got to take my truck a little off-roading.
