So i took my truck in for a 10k service and mentioned a problem with the clutch pedal squeak. the mechanic recommenced a new clutch be installed and b/c of a recall, i guess it's free. Well last week they called me up and said my part was in so i made an appointment to take it in friday morning. The next day they called me up and said they hadn't even ordered my new clutch yet and they want to keep it 'til the clutch comes in, which won't be 'til the end of this week. I never realized how much i took my tacoma for granted til i had to start driving my old 87 legend again

yeah i am 19, toyota rent a car department never gives me a car either, instead, cause of my paps hookup there, i go straight to the sales desk and the people i know get me keys to a brand new 4runner everytime, no questions asked.

Well the thing is, my dad works in the car business and he is buddies with the used car manager at that dealership and he said someone in parts made a mistake and shouldn't have called me to set up an appointment yet. But since my dad knows the used car manager and he knows they fucked up, im gonna get a free full detail, inside and out, for their screw up.

Lets hope they know how to detail. They did the same thing for my moms camry and it looked very half ass. Good luck with ur taco if i were u i would go and check the truck out just to see why they need to keep it.
