tire size?

I am trying to find a set of Mickey Thompsons that will fit
http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/produ...tName=&man=MTT
On 16x10 rims. I would like something equivilent to the BFG A/T 285/75/16. I will be installing a Toytec 3" lift also. I can't seem to find the size that will work? I really don't know what all these tire size numbers mean? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

A 285/75/16 is 32.8"x11.2" and depending on the offset of the wheel will also determine how much tire and wheel is going to be in the wheel well. According to the site you linked the smallest M/T tire on a 16" wheel they offer is a 305/70/16 which is 32.8"x12". Try this link along with what Lotust posted and you'll be a tire size expert in no time.

Thank you! You guy's are the BEST!
Do you guys think that the 305/70/16 on a Weld Cheyenne 6 16x10 rim with a 4.5" back space, will stick out from the fenders a lot? An inch or so would be acceptable. Or do you think I should go with a smaller rim?

Toku just from what I've learned recently with backspacing/offset I'm thinking that that combo is going to stick out somewhere around 2-2.5 inches and you may encounter some problematic rubbing issues. I believe you are looking at the Cheyenne XT, if that is the wheel you are set on (it's a good lookin' wheel and $$$ that's one of the reasons I decided against them cuz of the cost factor)(money tree is bare) you may want to consider going with the Cheyenne 16x8 with a 285/75/16 that will give you the same height on the tire but a slightly smaller footprint. I may be mistaken but seems I saw a setup on someones rig in here with the weld wheels.

found it, 16x8's w/4.5" backspace on 57's truck( he's running 265's)
http://toyotanation.com/forum/t124518.html

If you go with the 16x10 with a 4.5" bs and the 305 tire which has a 12" footprint you're easily gonna be adding 1.5" or more outside the wheel well (than what 57 has on his truck), and inside the wheel well with rubbing issues. Not saying it can't be done because I do not know but the laws of physics do not seem to be in your favor.

Thanks for the info!
I did think about the 16x8's but I would like to get a deeper dish look. Maybe I try the the Procomp
http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/produ...Name=&man=PCTC
With the 16x10?? I don't mind if they stick out a bit, I think I would like a beefier stance on my truck. After all I am from Hawaii! LOL!
