Well i never posted a picture of my truck on here, but since i've spent some money in the pst few weeks i figured i'd show what i got. I replaced the tires with BFG All-Terrains and replaced the radio with a in dash DVD player. here are some pics.
the replacements
before
after
and the radio
i have a Sirius tuner hidden behind the in dash as well. i have pics of the install should anyone want to see them.
Sweet looks sweet man, congrats. I like the in dash dvd. Hows it treating u? Im soon to get my pionner z1 or an eclipse. How the tires treating u any problems?

thanks man. i love the in dash dvd, it has everything you need. i finally got my satellite radio back, not to mention i can watch Chapelle Show while i'm stuck in traffic. it is an mp3 player also so i can put like 10-15 cd's on one cd-r, which means i can get those damn cd cases out of the back seat. plus that unit has an SD card slot which you can put music on too, 4g's or something! FYI - if you get one and they tell you to run a wire to your parking brake, just ground it. that way you can watch and drive!
trd - no rubbing, they're not much bigger than stock. just more grip for the winter
onemnk - yes, has an AUX for whatever you choose. i payed like 600 on ebay, crutchfield wanted 700+. for the price crutchfield wanted i got the HU, sirius tuner, and schose kit. whole thing was right around 700.
Dang i cant trust ebay for stuff like that. I rather get it brand new.
i'm usually like that too. but the seller sold like 20,000 items and a lot of them where higher end electronics with great feedback. so i said what the hell, it will at least have a manufacturers warranty! but the seller said it was brand new and i got a sweet deal!
Is their a bypass that lets you play DVDs when in drive? You say you can watch while your in traffic. Im just asking because I heard of that new law with in dash displays.

O and btw, very nice setup you have there.
that's what i was telling TRD. you just run the wire which is supposed to go to the parking brake and ground it, that will bypass the safeguard and you can watch whenever you want. as far as the law, if i were ever pulled over, i would simply switch sources to radio or whatever before he got to my window. other than that he'd have to be up high enough passing by me to see in and see a movie playing...very unlikely i think.
