I was just wondering with the 6" lift do you guys have a shudder on inital take off, or around 20 mph?
A lot of the people with the 3" lift have a shudder, after installing their lifts.
I was just wondering if the 6" lift did the same thing? Thanks!
Talked to a guy with setup identical to Madtaco05 and he didn't have any problems. Or if he did I doubt he'd still be planning on stacking on a 6" lift for 12" of total lift and doing 35" (IIRC) tires.
I could be wrong, but if he didn't like the ride now I really can't imagine him trying to make it wors by going higher.

Yes! I am aware that some 3" lift have it and some don't. I guess you guy are the lucky ones without the shudder.
But I'm not trying to find out "IF" the issue exist? I already know it does.
I wanted to hear from people who actually have a 6" suspension lift.
Do you have the stock drive shaft? when you installed the lift did they add shims or drop the carrier bearing? If they didn't do either thats why you are having a vibration. The driveshaft as it sits at the joint is angled so it gives you the shudder. If they did do those 2 things then Im not sure why. A lot of 6" lift guys have gotten a custom 1 piece driveshaft to solve that issue.
