Camper shell for 05 Tacoma long bed?

hey yall,
Does anyone have any info regarding a shell for a 05 taco, double cab, long bed?

Only product I have found is the snugtop but they wanted $2,050 + $1,000 shipping. SCREW THAT!!

Any luck with Leer or A.R.E? I searched thier sites but no luck.

I've got an 05 long bed and I just put an ARE topper on it. When i bought it used it had a SnugTop on it, but I couldn't fit it with a boot so I sold that and went with the local dealer who sells ARE. Its the second one I've had and I like them a lot. durable, look good, and you can get a lot of options and they fit the new Tacos really well.

They aren't cheap, but none of the fiberglass ones are anymore. I paid about $1600 for mine I think, an MX with a boot, sliders, liner, etc.

i've got a snugtop and it fits perfectly. I had a snugtop dealer install it anf they only charged me like $100. the purchase price was almost $2K though. Its a great top.

I'll keep an eye out for a long bed shell for ya mofro. I've seen a few pop up on Ebay. FYI your bed is the same size as a regular cab bed or an access cab bed. They all have the same size bed, except for the Double Cab short bed.

What color is your truck? I just saw an 05+ tacoma silver long bed shell on Ebay. But it's in California. That's a long drive from GA.

If you want to buy new, check in your area for a Vision dealer, base price starts 850 or so and they add stuff from there, slider, insulation, etc, I was out the door including tax for 1300 w/all I added which was most all the options. I am happy with mine, had it all over the Sierras this summer camping and fishing. Plus I added my old Yakima rack and been carrying stuff on that also.
