Borla exhaust and air filter

So I had the exhaust installed at the dealer before I actually bought the truck. I had no idea it was going to come with a borla re-useable filter also. There were no instructions on how to clean this thing. Does it work just like a K&N, simply rinse it out and let it dry?. Does it need to be oiled somehow? It didn't feel oily when I took it out to examine it right after I bought the truck.

Thanks

I have the same setup and don't know what how to maintain it either. I guess it needs to be replaced at some point like any other air filter???

nah, it says do not discard. so you are supposed to clean and then re-oil it i guess.
