I know they "dont fit" But how much caliper grinding has to be done? I hate the tire choices were stuck with. I dont want a D or E rated 32" tire. If i go with a lift can I put on a larger tire thats not D-E rated?

I think it would be impossible to grind off enough material. 15" is way too small. There are plenty of C rated tires that will fit 16" and 17" wheels.
what about in a 32-33" tire? I have not seen too many... well none? lol I must not be lookin in the right places.

Toyo makes the Open Country A/T in 265/75R16 with a C load rating.
I regret getting the yoko geo at II's in the 265/70 I think they came in a 265/75 with a c rating.

On the Toyota web site, it says the 4x2 base model comes with 215/70R15's (steel wheels). On page 16 of the Tacoma brochure, it lists the specs for the rotors. The 4x2 regular cabs come with 10.83" rotors. All of the rest of our trucks come with 12.56" rotors (16+" wheels).
I guess if you really want 15's, you could see if someone with the smaller rotors would want to swap with you. It might be a pain in the ass though.
out of curiosity whats wrong with D or E rated tires?
They have more plys of rubber, so they are usually stiffer and also hurt MPG more because of the weight. D and E rated tires are used mostly on full size trucks and duallys.
