Quite a night, and quite a story for you guys tonight.
I was driving home from my fiance's house and got about 10 miles down the road. I was slowly catching up with this car and was about 3 car lengths behind him and this guy slams on his brakes. I wasn't expecting it, so I stomped on mine, but went around him in the left lane. The guy then turns his bright lights on and proceeds to catch up with me. He turned them off for a oncoming car, but then turned them back on. I pulled off to the side of the road and he passed, then I flashed my lights at him to show him that I didn't have my brights on. The guy then pulls onto a side road and stops. I pass him and go through this bumass town and forget him.
10 miles down the road at the corner of 26 and 29 (BFE) this asshole guy almost rearends me, then pulls off to my rear passenger side. I look back and see that it's the car that was having a pissing match with me. The guy gets out and pulls a gun, inwich I proceed to floor it and get down the road and call the cops. Of course they didnt' catch the guy. Unfortanutely I didn't have my "protection" in the truck today either.
So, to stay on topic, does anyone here get flashed in their Taco? I get flashed more when I have the fogs on, but the fogs are aimed as low as they'll go...Just curious. I don't want to deal with whitetrash idiots like this anymore or get flashed for that matter. Note that there are no mods to my truck and I didn't have anything in the back of the truck.

Get flashed quite a bit and don't have the fogs at all. The low beams are very bright and looks to me like they have a clear cut off distance designed into the lens. The high beams are even brighter, so when I flash back they get the idea.
See, that's it though. I checked to see how my lights were aimed after I got flashed for the very first time. I even had the stealership double check them and they are to Toyota's "specs".

3 car lengths? that would piss me off , but only for about a second. It annoys the crap out of me when people ride my butt. Back on topic though there are alot of silly people riding around with zero sense.

Well, it was more 3 DBL cab LB lengths I think that's plenty...but regardless, totally senseless and idiotic to pull a gun. In the meanwhile, I'm going to steamclean the drivers seat

I've never been flashed but I've had plenty of idiots act like jerks at nite. Seems like they hate my truck so much that they would rather die for me to be in front of them and it's usually a Chevy or a Dodge that they are in. I've had cars high beam me and get right up on my bumper before and damn it's made me wanna slam on my brakes. if people wanna be jerks then I can too and yes I usually drive with my fog lights on though most of my driving is on less populated roads.
I've had someone actually pull up beside me and roll down their window to tell me that I had my brights on. It's gonna be sweet when I get my new Phillips BlueVision's...

.
I have a similar story of road rage w/ the lights. Thankfully nothing awful happened. Just 3 weekends ago I was driving westbound on the Indiana tollroad at 2 a.m. and this guy in a fullsized Ford just started tailing me w/ the brights on for several miles. I looked around to check if there's anything wrong w/ my truck or my cargo. There was none so I was like wtf does he want? We would pass other vehicles and he would put them on low beam as he would pass other vehicles then put the brights on when he is behind me. I change lanes and he would also change lanes and stay close right behind so obviously his intentions aren't good. After a few minutes of trying to figure out why, I realized it must be the foglights or glare from the headlights. I happened to leave the foglights on as I passed him as there were lots of deer on that stretch of highway. Semi truck drivers and most big rigs don't like the glare from the foglights when you approach and pass them. I get flashed most of the time so I always switch them off when there are other vehicles just ahead of me. It just happened that there were lots of roadkill and some live animals attempting to cross the highway and then this idiot came along. I don't have the oil slick mod and don't want to aggravate the situation so I stomped on the gas pedal and sped away. He was gone in less than 60 seconds.
