Sup guys. So I just got word through a friend that I might be able to do some cheap bedliner work from Line-X. Just curious on if anyone has REMOVED their plastic stock drop-in liner comlpetely to get a spray on? Any inputs? I know that the stock liner is very good, but any pros and cons u guys have experienced??? I have a TRD sport and it has all of the compartments along with the power outlet. Please let me know whatcha guys think about removing the stock bed to put in the liner or even IF u can removed it bc of the power outlet. thanks all!!!

You cant remove the "liner" because thats it. This IS the bed. There is NO metal underneath it. Look in your rear fender well to see that it is all the way through. The whole bed is a Composit material.
If you have seen rhino lining, it is because they sprayed over the composit bed.
i don't know what you're thinking about..... it's not a liner... it's a composite bed (instead of a metal bed). if you remove it, you'll have nothing to spray anything to but frame.....
sorry im ignorant. lol hahaha i didnt even know. Ok... so onto my next dumb question... has anyone HEARD or EXPERIENCE spraying on a coat of bedliner? lol line-x in particular (with a taco or any truck)?

i believe a few have done it. I think i hear that they dont warrenty the work when they spray it onto the composit material though.
Why would you want to spray the composit bed? Its pretty damn durable. If you dont want stuff sliding around, i would get the bed mat. But its up to you I will look for some pictures.
It's not a plastic bed liner, it is the bed. There isn't any sheet metal underneath of it. I think I have heard of people spraying a liner in the bed over the plastic. You would have to get more testimonies on that from someone else.
nomad had his bed Line-X'd. Looks good. Not really sure what the point is. But after 1 year his has held up like new.
There is nothing under the composite bed. You can remove it but you won't have much to Line-X.
Have them undercoat your truck if you really want to have them spray something. I have my appointment shortly after Thanksgiving, hopefully the snow holds off until then.

i wouldn't claim ignorance here. But you might want to check the leaf spring up front when you get a chance. They known to squeek when loaded with fat chicks.
