USA puff of smoke?

I was out of town attending my son's graduation from Air Force Basic School, I was in Texas for 1 week, when I return and start my truck, it puffs smoke when started. It wasnt a terrible amount , but there was some smoke. I know why it smokes, but is it common for a new vehicle to do this with 11,00 miles?

Mine did it once (when new, with very few miles on it), dealer dismissed it as a fluke, and I haven't noticed it again. Others have reported the same. If you see it often, it's time to talk with your dealer. Otherwise, I wouldn't be concerned. And from what I have read, it may be more likely to do that after sitting for several days (or on a sloping surface).

I would be shocked to see this also. I have driven mine every day so far and have not noticed this yet. Hopefully this is something that we will not have to worry about until around 200k miles.
