Spare tire bed mounts...

I'm looking for ideas for fabbing up a spare tire mount, or buying one if they have nice ones for our trucks. I don't remember who it was, but I remember seeing a picture of one, where it used the bed rail behind the cab and angled the tire up towards the rear glass, and down towards the bed facing the back.

I really don't want to ever have to crawl under my truck to get it out, especially while out on the trails. After seeing the guys at the tire shop take it down...it's a royal PITA, even on a flat cement base like the shop floor they were working on.

Dale Clough has the one you are talking about. He either made it himself or had it custom fabbed up. He got the design from CBI Offroad. They make the same thing, only not for the 05's yet.

I laughed when I saw that clunky-ass cable reel thing holding up the spare. I took mine off.

There's this (very bottom of the page)

Or this

Or this
http://www.performanceproducts4truck...e+Tire+Carrier

Or you can go with a spare on a rack set-up, too.
