i've got an 06 indigo ink prerunner and i've been looking into a bull bar and considering getting the black westin. i ordered a lund screenfront monday, and i am getting a color matched bumper surround within the next two weeks. if i get the black westin bullguard, i was thinking it might look good if the emblems were painted black. to give you guys an idea, this is what i have planned

black demello sliders
color matched grille surround
black bull bar
lund screenfront
discoverer STT's
and chrome wheels

so, how do you guys think black emblems on indigo would look to compliment the other black?

I say give it a shot. If nothing else it should be fairly original. I know someone posted their black emblems on a white taco a few days back. I thought it looked pretty nice. Altough with all that black and dark indigo, how would chrome wheels look

i'm not sure. that's what i'm a little skeptical. right now i have the toyota oem alloys, and i won't be upgrading wheels until sometime next year, so i'm a little weary of painting the logos black.

paint it...chrome is ugly.

i don't mean just the front though. i mean the side emblems and the tailgate ones. nice truck by the way.

I have an OEM "Tacoma" and Toyota" black emblem in my garage that I got from my dealer I would sell you... I spent almost 60 bucks for the... I will sell you mine for 55 shipped or I can go back to the dealer and ordrer the other 2 black "Tacoma" emblems for you and you can just add that to the price...

I removed mine and had decals made in there place. I like the look better and it is easier to wash and wax. I had them color matched to go along with the graghics on the rear quarters:

no thanks. i'd just as soon paint them and clearcoat them than pay 60 bucks for them. taco5, those stickers are cool. where'd you get those?
