anyone else's blower motor making a high pitch squeeking? mine is particularlly evident when the fan is set to low speed and pretty freaking annoying. sounds like the blower motor is going to take a shit, but it hasn't gotten worse in a long time. took mine into the dealership, first they tried to say they couldn't hear it and then they tried to say it was normal, but seeing as it didn't use to make that noise i had them order the part. just wondering if anyone else had the problem.
Yeah, mine does the same thing every so often. I've found that just flipping the fan to high for a few seconds normally makes the noise go away. It happens at random and I haven't bothered to rip the dash apart enough to see if I can lube/grease it to keep quiet permanently.

Its beacuase of the filtration. If you remove the filter on the 2006+ models I bet it will stop.

turning it to high will make it unnoticable but once i return it to low it makes the noise again. and it ALWAYS makes it, really fuckign annoying. i have an 05, so no stock filter here. i had a filter on there but removed it to see if that would cure the problem and no dice. i also jiggled around the fan blades and it seems that the bearings don't have any play in them. i'm not really a noise nazi but man this one really pisses me off, especially since it's a freaking new car.
Mine started about last summer. i just took it in and the dealer replaced the motor. He said mine was out of balance. Anyway, it was covered under warranty so I paid nothing.
I haven't heard this one on mine yet, knock on wood. I used to have a work car and the fan would make a noise when I turned left. That was one that made me crazy. All it took was just a small turn to the left and it sounded like it was rubbing.

mine does the exact same thing. Dealer said they didnt hear it. So i replace dthe motor own my own. New motor worked perfect, now after about six months the second motor does the same thing. It has nothing to do with filtration. The motor is a piece of shit, the noise is created from the actual motor. As far as a i can tell there really isnt a good way to lube it either.
It just got cold here in NY the other day. Its the firt time I heard a high pitch squeel, I wonder if there is going to be a TSb for this delphi blower POS...

had this issue within the first month of ownership. I just banged the bottom of the motor with my fist and it's been silent since. I keep thinking the noise will come back but so far....

for almost a week now i've had a rapid "click" noise coming from the floor heat blower on my passenger side. i've tried hitting it, blowing compressed air up there, but nothing is working. similar to what has been described above, when the fan speed is set to low, i hear the click, almost like someone stuck a baseball card in there so it would sound like a motorcycle. when i change speed to anything but low, the nosie is gone. please understand, this isn't a squeal, it's a click, or even tick if you will. any thoughts would be appreciated, but i must do something because it's driving me nuts!!

Jesse, I have the same thing. I took the glove compartment out this morning and it's definitely coming from blower motor.
It's really annoying. I couldn't take it anymore yesterday and actually shut off the heat. My fiance almost shit a brick, she's like "I'm freezing". I said "too bad, I can't take that noise anymore." She says "what noise?"
Sometimes I think I may be going crazy but it's definitely there. Right?!?
I hear it on low and the 2nd setting. After that, the blower is so loud I can't really hear anything. It's probably still there though. At first, I thought the noise was coming from the tweeter in the passenger door. The tick almost sounds like a blown speaker. I noticed it about a month ago. Right when the temp dropped 20 degrees and I started using my heat.
I'm in the process of switching jobs. Since I'll be slacking off here for the next two weeks maybe I will take a trip down to the dealership. Maybe I can finally get the clutch squeak fixed too.
