***VIDEO CLIP*** Smoke coming from Flowmaster Deltaflow 50 exhuast

So I got my Flowmster 50 installed before halloween. I have put maybe 400 miles to it already. I still have the smell of the welding or whatnot and when I made this sound clip, I saw smoke coming from the exhaust. My garage door was open and the temp was 64*F outside. Can anyone tell me when the smell/smoke goes away? Is the the smoke bc of the new muffler or is it bc of the temperature? Any clue? Please let me know. Thanks alL!!!

Comes from my TRD exhaust as well. I believe it is normal. I think it has something to do with condensation in the air (dont quote me on that).

My guess would be that it's condensation. Does it smoke like that all the time or just when engine is first started? If it's only when you first start it up then it's just the moisture in your muffler evaporating.

Keep the engine running for 5 minutes and the smoke will disappear. That's so normal. Your flowmaster sounds bad ass, can you post another video clip with the camera running inside the cabin on the freeway?? please!

Normal condensation. The smell is just oils on the metal burning off. All of this is normal. The smell will go away soon.

I like the way the Flowmaster sounds on your truck. Is it dual outlet or just the one? Also, what size inlet and outlet is it? Inquiring minds wanna know.

Thanks dude!!! Single 2.5" inlet and outlet. It's mellow and has almost NO resonance interior. I'll try to get a video up for interior noise. I also have an AFE intake... I'm too lazy to remove it and replace to stock to hear what the sound diff is. ha!

Thanks for answering my questions. Now, one more question, were you able to notice any improvements, performance or gas mileage wise?

Honestly... No... no improvement... just better sound and barely any improvement in response. The main difference was when i went from stock everything to AFE intake... I really felt a difference there but when i added exhaust... not really.

*** Heres the interior noise... FYI, i left the windows down... at the take off u can hear the exhaust more, but at maybe 6-8 secs into the video... all u hear is the intake.

My spintech does the same thing when it's cold. Like someone above said, I think it's just the condensation. Sorry sis and your 350...
