Anyone know how much the Tacomas weigh, dry weight? Just wondering what the HP/Weight ratio is compared to other trucks I have had over the years.

Well im not sure on the dry weight, but i have an accses cad 4x4 V-6 auto and when i went to the landfill as i was leaving my truck weighed in at 4,345 pds. I had about 1/4 tank of gas.

My ACCESS CAB Prerunner is 3626lb according to my registration. The crazy thing is that my REG CAB 4x2 2002 Dakota was in the 4900lb range. Must be that tinfoil they use for sheet metal.
My landfill tare weight last week was 4120 (me and the pooch already subtracted out). The curb weights are the best for comparisons, but I think my Taco is a little on the chunky side. Specs are in my sig line.
My 06 TRD offroad, access cab came in at 4200lb. This was with 3/4 tank of gas, 6 speed, bed mat, soft tonneau cover, and BFG A/T's 265/75r16 instead of the stockers.

Access cab 4x2 manual trans: 3490 lbs
Double cab 4x2 auto trans SB: 3855 lbs
Double cab 4x2 auto trans LB: 3910 lbs
4wd Tacos weigh 200 more lbs than a 2wd.
An auto trans weighs 20 more lbs than a manual trans.
Double Cab 4X2 auto trans SB: 3855 would be me. Good to know. Thanks for the info PB.

The Sport or Off Road package might affect the weight a little bit because of the different wheel and tire sizes. But it shouldn't be a big difference.
The heaviest Tacoma would be a 4x4 DC LB at 4110 lbs.
A 4x4 DC SB should be 4055 lbs.
I forgot about the X-runners. They have the addition of the X brace, and ground effects. The X-runner curb weight is 3690 lbs
