n9emz...at first, it looked like your truck did real well in the wreck, hardly sustaining any damage. but then i noticed it looks like the front of your bed is crumpled. is the frame bent?

Right frametail buckled between the bumper and main framerail.
Bed impacted the right rear of the cab and the LR door is sloppy loose. Lot more damage than first meets the eye. All this happened within 30 minutes after I signed on the dotted line and headed home with the truck. I took diagonal measurements on the rear and they're good....rear axle tracks fine. At the least the rear frametail will have to be sectioned....meeting with the adjuster at Davis Bros Body Shop in the morning at 10.
DAYUM!!! On both accounts. I hope the lady is ok but somehow I don't think she fared too well after that.
One the truck wreck, I would be sick. If that were to happen to mine on the first day, I would be wanting it totalled for sure. No way would I have a truck with a sectioned frame. That cannot be good. I hope the adjuster does you good.

Sorry to hear your new truck wrecked so soon. I will be really upset if it was me. Was the buick or jeep fault?
Thanks for the good words, folks. The Buick (V3) hit the Jeep (V2) and knocked it into me. I'm D1/V1 in the accident report narrative.
I waited at the Martinsville PD for 5 hours to get a fresh copy of the accident report. The following morning I spent 3 hours on phone and fax with GEICO (mine) and Progressive (hers) insurance companies. My call originated the Progressive claim number and they initially tried to dodge the bullet, but faxed me a 100% repair binder including rental car and 100% repair warranty for my period of ownership.... following my faxing them a copy of the accident report.
As of 5 p.m. yesterday (3 days after the accident) the woman who caused the accident was still "unavailable." Note: She's employed by the largest franchised independent car dealer in Indianapolis and was driving one of their vehicles. I smell lawyers and I'm getting my part done with before the crap hits the fan.
