Livingston, Ky (now with video)

Did some riding today way over in Livingston, Ky (south of Richmond) with the KY chapter of TTORA. Woke up @ 2am to meet those guys in Richmond @ 7:30, drove over 500 miles round trip, broke some stuff, had a blast.

Cool action shot :

poser

A cool litte cave thats down there:

Carnage. I've been pretty lucky up to this point. Itwas bound to happen sooner or later. However, this was by far the most extreme off-roading I've ever done, much less in this truck. I dropped the rear a little quick off about a 3' ledge (bad line, I guess, as I was the only one who hit there) and landed hard on the rear bumper. The impact shoved the bumper up into the driver's side tail lamp and broke off the mounting tabs. We fixed it up good, though.

This guy's truck is badass.

I've got some really good video. Gonna watch it tonight and post it later. Too, Tired to mess with it right now.

What brand of sliders do you have? Are they bolt on or weld on?

Completely worth the sleep sacrifice. I'll try to get the vid up today later on. Still pretty tired this morning.

CBI. They are bolt-on.

Be very careful when you pull that duct tape off. I have seen people take the paint right off some cars. You might want to warm the tape with a blow dryer 1st.

Nice shots That sucks about the damage, although you could just put the same duct tape on the right side and call it a mod.....

I've got the tabs glued back on to the housing already with some Gorilla Glue. I'll check it in a few days. If that don't work, I guess I'm buying a new tail light.

In the stream video, notice that my watch comes loose from trying to hang on to the wheel. Also notice at one point I show the speedo, take note of the speed. The beeping noise is my cell searching for a signal and the other noises are my watch and my keys slamming the dash.

BTW-the kid in the pretty red taco is 17 and that thing is bone stock. This guy did everything we did, lol. All he lost was a mud flap. He has no fear.

Bill,

Did you get new wheels and tires? I thought you had Mickey Thompson Classic II's and BFG AT's?
