Off Topic Kind of: my little truck :)

picked this up off ebay recently RC10T4 brand new in box great price luckily.

Anyway, spent pretty much most of Friday night and part of Saturday building this. Finished up tonight painting and stickering JDM flavor w/ the mirro image on the passenger side of the truck. Anyway, pics:

Tires are my dirt lot variety knobbies...the good stuff is stored safely "mini pins" for the local track that's more hard packed clay.

I kind of have the suspension set right now more prerunner

Nice. that's a fast lil ride. I had a T-maxx with over $2k invested in it. It was all billet aluminum and titanium. Dual .21 nitro engines. It had billet wheels that cost more than wheels on an actual passenger car. LOL. I hated to sell it, but I had so much money in it that I was afraid to race it. It was on the cover of R/C magazine a few years ago. I sold it and bought a 1/5 scale gasoline powered buggy. It was awesome. I now prefer 2 cycle engines over little nitros. I always go overboard with my hobbies.

I'll have to move this thread. Way Off Topic.

Pb: did you get the HPI Baja Buggy? that thing is insane w/ the weed wacker motor in it.

I just never got into gas, probably because of the area i live in Socal running nitro would be too loud and obnoxious for my urban neighbors.

Yeah, gas engine RC's certainly get a lot of attention. Taking one to the park is a great way to meet and talk to people. Kids love it.

This was the last buggy I had. http://www.edgesports.net/item.asp?r...162168&id=2376 It was awesome. Built like a tank. I drove it right through a wood slat fence. It put a nice doggy door in the fence.

I'm thinking about buying one again in the future. Gas engines are lot easier to use than nitro. Nitros have to be tuned and adjusted all the time, plus nitro fuel is $35 a gallon.
