Came across this site when looking to upgrade my factory keyless entry to keyless entry plus alarm. Looks like Code Alarm and Directed make add on "modules" that use your factory fobs but add alarm features like auto door locking when put into gear, audible arm and disarm, glass break, etc...way cheaper then just adding the RS3200. I know some of you guys have replaced your factory setups with more elaborate alarms. I just want to add the audible arming and auto door locking.
Anyhow if you ever had questions about Toyota's factory alarm or programing new remotes this site should hook you up. He also includes instructions for (various Toyota models), homelink mirror installs, satellite radio add ons.....pretty interesting stuff for all you DIY'ers
