It was a pick up and drop off so I had a chance to drive it for awhile. I have to say I dont really like it. You cant see a thing while driving it, the enigine tick is louder than mine, weird over hangs/nooks to try and clean and dry around, and the ride was alot more jarring than my truck. I bet alot of people are going to pull those handles off as well. The brakes were sensitive but seemed like they could stop on a dime!

you sure cleaned that up... i need to do a photochop to se what the truck will look like without the goofy white roof and roofrack. thats my only complaint about them visually.
Engine tick? Maybe you are hearing valve tappet noise. It could be completely normal in this era of dual overhead cams. Or how about piston slap in a cold engine?
Are they still selling above MSRP?? I was close to buying one but am so glad I chose the Taco and saved about 5000 bucks to boot. I have hauled more in 5 months in the Taco than would ever be possible in the FJ and the Taco rides like a dream. If I could afford 2 vehicles then maybe the FJ for a toy.
