LMAO, sounds like my buddy Steve the other day on our way to NJ. We had someone following us with a 2 way radio to keep in touch.

"This is Steve Steve your navigator, we have a big 10-4 on that next exit. Tango Fox Trot out!"

"what's she wearin' now, come back."

All-time favorite movie. This movie is every southern boy's dream as a child. It is the epitome of southern americana. I love Burt and I really love Jerry Reed. So much so, I patterned my playing style after his. For those who don't know, Jerry Reed was/is one of the best finger pickers to ever play. He and Chet Atkins were best of friends and even Chet aknowledged that Jerry is the better guitarist. Super fast and a technical genius. Find yourself a copy of "The Claw" and enjoy (if you listen very closely, you can hear Jery panting near the end of the song). Or, if you're ever in my neck of the woods, stop by and I'll play it for you.

...i've got my ten in the wind, let it all hang out again, 'cause how you gonna win if you ain't tryin'...

It isn't just the south. Those movies got me started with CBs and almost turned me into a trucker. And Jerry was a great player and folk singer. There's a 20 greatest hits disc out I picked up that has a lot of his best work on it.
