Pioneer or Alpine Component

Ive narrowed my choice to the Pioneer Rev and Alpine Type X components. Not going to add an amp just yet. Any suggestions? Running off the Kenwood 701 HU

I was in an car audio store and the guy was directing me towards cheaper speakers made my MB Quart. He said they were higher quality and handmade in germany. I listened to them and yes they did sound better.

The new Pioneer PRS components are about 225 shipped off ebay, I'd go for those instead of the Type-X, but I'd take the Type-X over the Rev series.

OK...I need an amp for these as well. Can you recommend? I looked on elitecaraudio.com, but I think Im out of my class and budget with those guys. Need something cheap, bullet proof, and a small footprint if such an animal exists. Almost there guys! Thanks for everyones help.
