Ouched

I think I fried my BECU. I was hooking up my alarm and mixed up two wires. it's so Hard to see some of the colors on the wires. I sent 12v parking light flash throught it. Now it thinks, my doors are open all the time. Guess friday I will get a price. I' m still haveing trouble finding the power locks. I have looked and check from past posts. I guess the becu is going to be expensive. The door open it says open kinda dim. Then you close the door or push the switch then it get brighter. I checked all the diodes and transistor in it but there are some other small surface mount componets that I couldn't check.

Disconnect the alarm. If the problem continues, take it up to David Maus and tell them your truck is flipping out.
If you want, I would be glad to look at it for ya this weekend.... im pretty good at tracking down this kinda crap.

Yeah it does it withe the alarm completely uninstalled. I know it's either the BECU or it's possible maybe something in the display. I might take it in and let them tell me what's bad and see it they will cover it.

I finally got the lock and parking lights hooked up how are everyone's door pins hooked up. Also if anyone know of a 06 dc that is total I would be interested in buy the BECU/ cab/fuse panel from them. I found out how much it controls and The only problem with mine is a ground issue so it lites up the door open lite in the dash cluster. The diagrams of this circuit show a resistor in series with the led. It would be in the gauge cluster. I havent found it. Thanks, for everyones help.
