wheel spacers

I have plans of purchasing a 07' Super white Double cab TRD sport in the next month or so. I plan on putting a 3" lift and 285/70/R17's on stock sport rims. I know I will need wheel spacers to do that. I am not comfortable using the type spacer that uses the factory stud and simply goes behind the wheel.

The type I will end up using, the spacer actually uses the factory studs to bolt the spacer to the truck and has seperate studs that the wheel bolts to. The only problem with this type is that 1" is the smallest spacer you can find.

I know there are people running the 1/4" and 1/2" spacers but is there anyone using the 1" or 1.25" spidertrax style spacer? Where does this put your tire/wheel vs a properly backspaced aftermarket wheel. Further out??? or about the same??

I have them, got em from Marlin Crawler, very nice quality! Gives plenty of spacing all around, it puts the wheel further out

If you go with a 1" or 1.25" spacer the stock rims will stick out about as far as a 16x8 wheel with 4.25-4.5" of backspacing. The spidertrax are well worth the money IMO, I've used them in the past and they are both hub and lug centric so you get a perfect fit. Plus they are anodized and don't corrode as easy as the bare aluminum ones.

MADTACO05-
What do you mean when you say "it puts the wheel further out"? I know the wheel will be further out than stock but am wondering where it would be compared to a aftermarket 17x8 wheel with the right backspacing for a 285/70/r17. Thanks

Well I'm not sure how far it will put the stock wheel out, I have an aftermarket wheel and mine sit out about an 1.5" outside the fenders, but the stock wheel may not I don't know, I'm not sure what the offset I'm my wheel is I forgot

Spidertrax.com doesn't list the 1" adapter... only the 1.25"

I'm guessing with this much spacing, one would install them on all 4 wheels?? (<-- its a question)
