Well actually it's a matter of opinion. Search the forums for dash kit color. There are other threads about this with pictures included. I went black cos I feel it actually looks sharper than stock silver. There is a lot of both colors in the dash so either one works. I have the Scosche double DIN kit and since it can only be found in silver I spray painted it black with textured black "Rustelon for plastic" spray paint.

Thanks. I did the search and saw the pictures but counldn't get an idea about which one actually looks better. The dimpled stock silver one is kinda hoaky. I'm thinking of going with black single din to replace it.

I've got a black kit installed - (not Scosche, just the kit that came with my stereo from Crutchfield.com) I really like the offset of the black / grey. But all my friends know i'm a little off..

Do any of these have the same texture as the stock one?

No. Nobody makes them with the little nubs on them. You can't tell though. It still matches good. Many people think my Nav head unit is OEM because of how good the dash kit looks.
