6" lift

I'm generally pretty new to TN (about a month now, and I am addicted) and I was wondering why I havent seen anyone here with the fabtech 6" lift installed on their truck. Ive used the search feature, and either I didnt look into it enough or I just plain missed it.

Is it a matter of money, or are there other reasons that the big lift isnt popular among TN users. Does it perform well offroad or is it just for show? I mean the lift is bad ass and If I had about $1500 (not to mention 35" tires and new wheels which I think it requires you have) to shell out I would do it in a heart beat...

check it out here...

That doesnt cover it for me though...is there some kind of stigma that drives people away from the 6" lift? perhaps the price?

people dont like the fact you have to cut the front crossmember to install it on a 4x4.

I wouldnt say price is a factor, a set of DR coilovers, deaver or dakar leaf pack, rear remote res shocks, and UCAs will cost more than the fabtech will.
