I know taste is subjective but on an 07 Silver Tacoma Prerunner I was wondering if some of the Toyota Factory Alloy Wheels that are being sold by guys who bought expensive wheels might be a good choice.
Can anyone recommend a particular style that everyone agrees looks good on the Tacoma?
For example the older "starfish" wheels look dated and ugly, but some of the newer factory wheels seem to look pretty good! Can anyone recommend a particular style? Maybe a description or model year to identify the wheel? Or maybe some parts guys actually have a part number? I can save some cash buying factory alloys off ebay and some look pretty damn nice!!
Yeah, the TRD Sport wheels are probably the best looking of the stock wheels (unless you want to go the 4runner route). I like 'em so much, I'm keeping mine for now.
I will be selling my stock TRD sport 17x7.5" wheels next week since I just ordered new wheels. I'm asking $300 + actual cost of shipping for all 4. They're in great condition as they only have about 26K miles on them and no curb damage or anything.

I would remove the tires. If you plan on shipping them.

I will probably have a set of the 16" trd offroad wheels for sale if anyone wants them. I'm going to order some 18" 4-runner wheels with new tires. I'm giving my stock tires to my sister though to put on her jeep. Wheels have 17,000 miles on them, no scratches.

Is it 16" or 17" you seek? I purchased the factory Baja Optional wheels for our Taco and now have the 16" TRD Off-Road wheels available. They had just under 3K on them when we exchanged rims.
I want to do the same thing on my truck. I have a 06 DC with the steel stock wheels, but want to put on the OEM factory aluminum wheels. Does this affect anything like MPG, speedometer, etc..? Any help is appreicated. I have searched through the forum but cannot find the question addressed. Thanks!

slave- you have a PM---- I am thinking about new rims when I get my new tires in March-
Mine have 7000 miles on them and have no marks or scratches. They are the TRD OR wheels... Make an offer and I'll even deliver my rims and 265/70/16 tires to your house as I will be in Brandon, FL in march, which is like 15 minutes from you...
