Finally posting some pics of my Taco

I couldn't find my camera when I went to pick my Taco up from the dealership, so I didn't take any pictures of it stock. Then I started modding it, and I was more worried about not breaking anything than taking any pictures. There are still a few more things I want to do, but here's what I've got so far.

What I started with:

Silver 2006 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Double Cab Long Bed
-TRD Sport Package
-Towing Package
-JBL Audio System
-Side Airbags
-Option Package D (Side steps, alarm, exhaust tip, etc.)
-Daytime Running Lights

Interior mods:

1. Leather seats and trim
2. Replaced the stock head unit with a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 Navigation/DVD system. The resolution on the display is incredible, and being able to copy CD's onto the hard drive and control everything through voice commands is great.
3. Pioneer iPod adapter
4. Pioneer Bluetooth adapter
5. PAC SWI-PS adapter to keep steering wheel controls with the new head unit
6. Sound deadened the entire interior with double-layered HushMat and Ensolite (floor, roof, rear wall, pillars, doors)
7. Hardwired Escort Passport 8500 X50 (Red)
8. Weathertech all weather mats (front and back)

Exterior mods:

1. Formula One Pinnacle 30 ceramic tint on the side and back windows
2. Westin bull bar and front skid plate
3. Bridgestone Dueler Revo tires (265/70/17)
4. Access Limited Edition tonneau cover
5. Power tailgate lock
6. Rocky Mount bike mounts
7. Cam locks for the storage cubbies in the bed
8. PIAA Super Plasma GTX headlamps (H4)
9. PIAA Super Plasma GTX fog lamps (9005)
10. Sylvania Silverstar turn signal bulbs
11. Clear headlight cover (removed the orange reflectors and turn signal cover)
12. Black headlamp housing mod
13. GrillCraft MX black mesh grill
14. 3M Underseal Undercoating for the front wheel wells and under the cabin
15. Extended the rear differential breather
16. Partially debadged
17. Toyota bed cargo net

There's probably a mod or two that I've accidentally left off, but whatever. I apologize in advance for the crappy pics... I don't know which is worse my photography skills or my digital camera.

There are a few other things I still want to do (bed lights, possibly a lift, and new amp, sub, and components), but that's it for now.

Ah man, that's harsh! I need to get a new digital camera for Christmas, but I'd rather put that money toward a nice lift/suspension kit.

Thanks for the compliments guys, they mean a lot coming from the owners of some very nicely done Tacos.

Truck looks great man, Nice work. That dash kit is the only thing that looks a little off. Did you get the schoshe or another brand. Other than that, once you get a lift and some tires that thing is gonna be MEAN

I think he has the Scosche kit. It blends nicely when you see it for yourself. It looks off in the pic b/c of the flash. Just my opinion.

2K6TAC is exactly right, my photography skills are to blame for the Scosche kit looking weird in that picture. I took a bunch of pictures, but I couldn't get the flash right. In person, it matches up just fine and looks just like the better pictures of the Scosche kits on TN.

I replaced the stock Dunlops with the Bridgestone Revos (265/70/17), and I'll probably stick with these even after I get the lift. They look good for now, but bigger tires may be in order once I see them with the lift. I was going to do the Toytec group buy, but now I'm going to wait and scrape together a few more pennies for the Donahoe coilovers in the front and Deavers for the rear.

So did you get one yet?

You can always add the leather later if you want.

Very nice. Man it looks like my access cab Sport:
-black bull bar
-black headlights (not quite clear corner, maybe you painted the refelctor dark?)
-Pinnacle Formula One tint
-Access LE
- black aftermarket grill...Grillcraft...Lund...close enough...
-Weathertech matts
-tube steps
-mp3 adapter (for Christmas)
- I don't have Rocky Mounts but Toyota cleat mounts...but I'm a silly ass cycling nut!
(you should get a hitch step to keep people from kissin your bumper)

Sure is pretty!

You're my hand twin!!!!
