Wade Bug Deflector Owners: Any Regrets?

I spent over an hour searching to try to find a definitive answer about the best bug deflector available for the Tacoma. Wade came up the most but I still don't know whats the best choice.
ANY WADE OWNERS REGRET THE PART?
ANY PROBLEMS?
THANKS!

I like mine. It's been on the truck for 6 mounths. It's easy to clean and stays off the paint. I think the price has gone up. I got mine here http://deflectors4less.com/ostbugsh7.html Hope this helps.

Thanks! I am also looking at the Stampede low profile. I just want one that looks tasteful and wont interfere with opening or closing the hood.

That's a sharp looking reflector. I like that.

Hows does you wade NOT touch the hood. Mine touches the hood no matter what.

I wish i could take mine off not beacuse it doesnt look right but beacuse i think it will look better without it.

Ive done alot of research on bug defelectors and honeslty this trucks dont get alot of rock chips if you live near a construction site like me i would recommend getting one but if youve had no rock chips in your hood i wouldnt get one. The trucks look so much better with out them.

If my truck didnt have battle scars from rocks and a bad expericence with the toyota bug defelector i would defently remove mine.

I would say stampede, have researched a shitload and gotten pictures from people doesn't rub hood and has a ski jump tp boot rocks up, the stock one on my hood has already allowed one chip which was bullshit so its going.

I like my Wade. I never had any trouble getting it to fit and I like the look. It touches the paint in one spot and eventually I'll need to put some touch up paint on it but I'd rather have that than chips all over. In fact, I have two chips on my windshield and had one on the hood in the month I drove the truck before the Wade...nothing in the 8 months since I put it on. Whatever brand you choose I'd say a deflector definitely helps minimize chips.

Naturally the answer is full paint protection with 3M MATERIAL. I have done about 8 different cars protecting the entire hood and bumper, door sills, rear view mirrors, rear quarter panels, door cups, door edges, etc etc. Problem is its very expensive. This time I am just gonna buy a deflector to protect not only the paint on the hood but also the windshield.

Money no object, I'd go with the 3m material hands down. I have a wade and it doesn't touch paint except under the hood, but who see's that? I like it, but I do have to "slam" my hood to shut it.
