Looking for a new set of tires, so I'm just gonna run a poll to see which set you think is better or prefer and why. Feel free just to vote or also post an opinion. Thanks.

I just got the bfgs this week and love them! I rode in my buddys jeep and he has the revos and they seem to ride a tiny bit quieter. I like the look of the bfgs over the revos as well. Either way you will end up happy
btw, i'm looking to go one size bigger over OEM to 265/70R17.
yeeah you can do that size. I have the Revo's they look really good but BFG AT's look really good also and maybe a little more aggressive tread pattern. I got the revos cause i wanted a little more of an onroad tire cause i only go offroadin everyonce in a while. they are both very good tires, and you will be happy either way you go IMO. at the last second i changed my mind and got the revos cause they were cheaper and later i found that there was a rebate which saved even more money. I will vote revo cause i have them, but at the end it comes down to what you really want. If you do quite a bit of offroadin then get bfg, if not so often then get revos.
edit: i also got the 265/70/17 size for my revos.

I have had to Revos and know tons of folks with the BFG's...
The Revos are quieter, and ride better on the road. The BFG's probably have a SLIGHT edge off-road, but my Revos got me into and out of enough trouble...

The BF's are a tougher tire, (better sidewalls) and will hold up better to trail abuse, the Revos from what I hear are a nicer on road tire, not quite as beefy in the sidewall department but smoother and quieter on road. The Revo's may last a little longer as well because I heard they have a higher rubber durometer rating, again though that could be seen as slightly sacrificial to offroad performance. It really comes down to what suits your needs better.
Thanks for all the input. And after thinking about everything, I think I'm gonna go with the Revos. I don't do a whole lot of offroading. In fact, I've never been...yet. So the Revos sound much more practical for my needs. And they're cheaper!
Hey NorCal...what tires do you have? Where did you get them? Maybe I'll check out that place for my set if you'd recommend them.

I got them at America's Tire, but had them installed at California Concepts.
I would definately recommend Cali Concepts but only if you are willing to pay extra, a lot extra. They won't match prices at all, but they do a top notch job in mounting and balacing your tires.
$100 for the job, call them first and see if they will let you bring in your own tires for install. Sometimes they don't.
I just put the BFG's on yesterday, double cab long box TRD sport I took a bit of a drive on the snow covered dirt road, last night, they are way better than the stock tires but I've only done a bit of driving on them so far. I have no experience with the Revos.
I had two sets of BFGs on my last truck, each set lasted well over 100,000 kms before replacement, and they gave excellent offroad and snow performance on that truck, (it was only 2wd too)
I had to get the 26t5 70 R17 E as no other load range would fit as far as I could see. there was some info on the website, but they told me the web and the catalogue are slightly out of date. Since i do so much hauling and towing i figured the extra strength would be fine. The ride is a bit stiffer but not so much that I notice it when not paying special attention to it. The noise seems to be very very slightly worse than the stock tires. considering the change in abilities Id say completely worth it.
I can't comment on the BFG's but I love the Revo's. I have had them for a little over 5000 miles and they still look new (as they probably should) They are exceptional in the rain. Can't wait to try them in the snow, and they look good. Very pleased. You get what you pay for.
I had BFG AT's on my previous vehicle, a 96 Grand Cherokee, and they were great. The snow traction is unbelievable and they're a great on-road tire. As soon as the rugged trails wear out, I'll be putting a set of the BFG AT's on.
