Question ome 884 / 885 coils

For all 2005-2007 DC owners has anyone installed the ome 884/885 coils without the top plate spacers, if so how much lift did you get from just the coils? Also if you have any pictures with this setup please post them so I could see the stance/rake. I am running 275/70R16 reveo's and just want to level out the front. Thanx

I just got my OME Coil lift but that is exactly what i plan to do. It's supposed to give 2 - 2 1/4" of front end lift and an average of 2" in the back with the add-a-leaf.

the aal will give the truck an ass-high rake. if you install just the coils, it may look like the front is a little higher than the back. your best bet to level it out would be some 1" blocks or shackles for the rear

i don't know what you're referring to. i thought i had explained it pretty well in my previous post. if you install the coils and 1"-1.5" blocks or shackles for the rear the truck should sit pretty level. with just the coils the front will be ~1" higher than the rear, hence my ass-high rake comment.

does that help?

Yes I removed my head from my ass when reading now. The two sentences described opposite stances, but I wasnt paying attention to the big picture. thanks

That's including the top plate spacers, correct?
