When decoding my VIN# my truck is listed as a 5 door van 2wd, your fourth letter in your VIN# is body style.

Toyotas VIN# codes list a 4dr truck 2wd but no 4dr truck 4wd.

Don't panic. What is your vin's 4TH digit? There seems to be some overlap between "Truck" and "Multipurpose Passenger Vehicle". Seems you have an incomplete vin decoder (or just spazzed out), this one lists several 4 dr 4wds.

I love how people say "VIN #" or "VIN NUMBER!" Wouldn't it just be VIN considering what VIN stands for?

My '78 Bronco was registered as a Station wagon. It had a removeable rear seat, If you had the seat out, and by chance got nailed by the fuzz and they wanted to be a dick, they could get you for having a pickup without being registered as a truck, since it was infact a very short half-ton pickup.....sorta....
