Some Photos from 2006 Motorcycle Show (Tacoma V8, FJ Cruiser Race Truck, Tundra)

its that time of year again....the international motorcycle show at the long beach convention center. a group of my riding buddies and i went to check out the scene.

not much action this year since the big 4 makers aren't exactly releasing new redesigns this year. there were mostly small cosmetic changes and minor mechanical advances as well. ducati was probably the most anticipated at the show with the debut of the new 1098 to be released for 2007.

anyways, i'm sure some of you know about the custom v8 tacoma that was built earlier. it was at the show along with rod millen's fj cruiser race truck and the new 2007 tundra. thte v8 tacoma looks great in person...the matte finish on the paint is just awesome. the fj cruiser race truck is built like a tank. the interior completely stripped with only bucket seats and a few electronics. as for the new 2007 tundra, this thing was massive. the hood does look shorter but the overall truck is very large.

here are some pictures i took of the trucks. i can post some pictures of the bikes if requested...

Awesome pics!! Love the V-8 Taco.. and Assuming that is the FJ that ran the Baja 1000 and finished a close second in it's class.

I wish they would put the old tundra next to the new one so we could see the difference.

I would bet that in the next few years, there will be a V8 offered in the Tacoma. I haven't read up on the Tacoma much other than the little bit I have on here. With the few pics of it I have seen, I am guessing that would be the next logical step IMO.
