Arrow Do you think I can sell ny 06 for 23k with 10k mikles?

Hey guys. We just bought a house. I dont need my payments anymore. I have a 2006 SR5 V6 auto with lots of TRD ,OEM goodies. The truck has 10k on it. I see prerunners on Ebay going for 23k. I have a 4x4.

That seems fair. I don't think I'd go any cheaper. Have you checked Kelly Blue Book?

Damn - another one trying to leave the family. See what the dealers are selling these for in the area, then maybe shoot for $1000 less? If you trade it, you'll get screwed, but if you can gain some interest by showing better value than what they can get off of the lot, that could work for you.

The trouble you might have is that there's alot of good deals on new Tacomas right now.

I dont think you will get $23,000 for it. Youd probably be lucky to get $20,000. Give it a shot though. List it for a while at $23k and if it doesnt sell lower your price.
If I were in the market for a Tacoma right now, no way would I pay $23k for an '06 with 10,000 miles on it no matter how many add-ons or other goodies it has on it. Just because you put money into a vehicle, that doesnt mean that its worth more.

Go for it, when I was looking for my truck I saw a 2002 or 2003 double cab 4x4 with 80,000 on it and they were asking 20,000 for it and prob got it.

In June I traded in my sport package for $26K. It had 8K miles, and was the same as yours, v-6 auto access cab in black. Also around here nobody budges on sticker price. New it was just over $29K and after I traded it in they resold it as a certified used for $28K.

well then you won't be buying it. but i don't think he'll have any problems selling it for 23k.

I owe 23,350 on it. I dont have to sell it. But it would make more room for upgrades to the house.

well, if you don't have to sell it. you shouldn't sell it unless you get at least enough to pay the whole loan off.

Lotust, didn't you recently trade up for this access cab from a regular cab?

Lotust, You should try to keep it. I bet in the long run it's your cheapest ride. Every time you buy and sell a vehicle you lose money.
