components for christmas

i'd post this in the audio forum, but i wanted opinions about the sound specific to our trucks. what components have you guys that own double cabs used/liked? i'm shopping because my dad said he'd get me a set for the front and back doors with tweets. i've been looking at MB quart discus series and the pioneer PRS series, but for two sets of woofers the pioneers are a bit too pricy. opinions would be welcome. thanks.

The PRS components are what to get. And you only need one set anyways. I recommend disconnecting rear speakers altogether.

I have the PRS's on order on recommendation of Cam. From the research I did on them, they are supposed to be amazing, especially for the money. I got them from an Ebay store for $230 or so. Unfortunately, they are on backorder right now but I hope I'll get them in a week or so.

I have the MBQ Discus in the front and rear doors. I am very happy with them. Got them from Sound Domain for $139 each.

Boston Acoustics Pro Series components up front and 6.5" coaxials in rear. Boston Acoustics G1 10" sub and BA amp. All BOSTON and loving it.

I got the hookups, I can direct you where to get a set.

I can get most brands but I rec. these PRS components over anything for the same amount of money.

And no I'm not a dealer, I don't profit, I'll just put you in contact with a dealer.
