Alrighty then, since I initially annoyed a few folks here with my "questions" thread, I took delivery of an 07 radiant red double cab. Pic here: The Official Show Your Truck thread!

I am really trying to hold back on getting mod happy. But I really like the way SilverStreak's black Wheelers look on his truck. I don't expect to get a lift or CO's in the near future, and need to do a little research on whether Type A or Type B's would be best, and all that's based on what size tire I put on there, and that will be decided by what rubs and what doesn't.

One thing leads to another leads to another leads to another

yep, it's an addiction. it's hard to stop once you get going. i highly suggest going to a 265/75/16 tire if you do upgrade tires. it doesn't rub even at factory height and it fills the wheel well nicely on 3" lifts, which is what i have.

i wasn't aware that the 16" wheelers steelies would even fit our trucks. are you sure?

I've seen them on a few trucks on here. I'm not sure if they were the type A or Bs though

Yeah the 16 wheelers steelies will fit and look pretty nice. I believe bruyn boy or something like that has them on his black access cab with DR in the front and the OME leaf pack in the rear

Nah, man... you didn't annoy anybody.

Glad to see the ribbing didn't talk you out of buying a Tacoma! Welcome to the family.

The guy likes my truck, he's obviously got good taste

I'm actually thinking about ditching my steelies and putting the stock alloys back on.

Because I don't go offroad enough to justify the extra weight of the rims.

Plus I'm poor Anything I can do to save on gas helps.
